Swimming with the Sharks

My Human Sidekick did a post a few days ago about the benefits of watching tropical fish tanks. She said research shows that gazing at fish swimming around can lower your blood pressure, ease stress and even help with insomnia.

Since I don’t have any of those problems, I’d rather follow my friend Paul’s philosophy—a little excitement is better than snoozing in front of a fish tank.

While my Human Sidekick was busy staring at fish tanks at the aquarium last week, I decided to try the shark dive experience they offer. Now THOSE are fish worth watching.

They tried to tell me I had to go in this cage with this big cumbersome tank attached to my back.

Well, I soon tired of that and just got out and communed with the sharks . . . until my Human Sidekick came along and freaked out and I had to get out of the tank.
